Hermit crabs, isopods, springtails and more all enjoy a variety of leaves in their environment. Up for grabs are mixed hardwood leaves that you can just toss right in! You will receive a variety of leaves: maple, oak (white, pin, northern red, to name a few!), hickory and more. These have been deep frozen for a minimum of 30 days to help eliminate any unwanted hitch hikers. Over time, the leaves will break down, releasing vital nutrients back into the substrate—for a bioactive setup, this is desired.
