Hermit crabs, isopods, springtails and more all enjoy a variety of leaves in their environment. Up for grabs are mixed hardwood leaves that you can just toss right in! You will receive a variety of leaves: maple, oak (white, pin, northern red, to name a few!), hickory and more. These have been deep frozen for a minimum of 30 days to help eliminate any unwanted hitch hikers. The following sizes are available: Small: 8x8" bag, Net Weight: 1.3 Oz Medium: Gallon bag, Net Weight: 5.4 Oz Large: 10x8x8" box, Net Weight 9.1 Oz Not only do crabs eat them, they also provide great cover for isopods and springtails. Over time, the leaves will break down, releasing vital nutrients back into the substrate—for a bioactive setup, this is desired. Lots of uses for various critters such as isopods, frogs, snakes, lizards, etc. If you are unsure if these are suitable for your critter, please find a reputable group that provides education for your specific animal.
