Mealworms (Tenebrio molitor) are great for feeding birds, chickens, amphibians and reptiles. Mealworms have high protein/nutritional value which is essential for proper growth of our animals. Mealworms come in various sizes for your convenience (mini, small, medium, large or mixed). We strongly recommend medium for most uses. Mealworms should be kept under refrigeration between 42 and 50 degrees, where they become dormant in their larva stage and stay in perfect condition for 30-45 days. Remove container from refrigerator once a week for an hour and give them a sliced apple, carrot or potatoes. If your temperatures are below 45 and above 85 degrees, Must let us know and have package held at post office for live guarantee.
