Our pellets are highly palatable with a large particle size, making them an excellent nutrition source for your tortoise. They contain moderate protein and energy to meet the needs of omnivorous species, making them ideal for tropical and forest tortoises. Our tortoise feed contains no added colors or artificial flavors and is enriched with antioxidants, vitamin E, and vitamin A to support the immune system and eye health. Feeding Instructions: Feed approximately 2-4% of your tortoise’s body weight. It is not necessary to moisten the pellets with water, but it may help acclimate your tortoise to the diet. Feed consumption will vary with environmental temperatures, activity, and life stage. Provide good quality grass hay or browse, and if desired, feed fresh fruits and vegetables (up to 5% fruit and 20% vegetables by weight of total diet). Always provide your tortoise with plenty of fresh, clean water, and ensure proper humidity levels for health and proper growth of herbivorous reptiles.
