10ct Armadillidium Gestroi live isopods. 10 count armadillidium isopods. Adults and juveniles. Gestroi is a larger species of armadillidium with distinctive yellow spotting and occasional white skirt. Isopods do well in an enclosure with a secure fitting lid, they are renown escape artists. Feed them to reptiles or establish a colony using a 6qt container set up with either coconut coir or organic substrate. They will need one side of the enclose damp and the other side on the drier side with plenty of hard wood leaf litter and decaying bark, such as cork bark, to use as hides. Keep a calcium source available and provide them with fresh food items such as zucchini, sweet potato, carrot, pumpkin etc. Remember to wash and peel first, Isopods are sensitive to pesticides. USPS has extended shipping times and i strongly recommend being present for delivery. I ship on Mondays to reduce time in transit.
